Mission and Values

The Winter Park High School Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to preserving the tradition of excellence at Winter Park High School. The Foundation will.

Supporting Excellence

The Winter Park High School Foundation, established in 1992 by dedicated parents and community leaders, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to bridging the gap between public funding and the resources needed to sustain Winter Park High School’s tradition of excellence. As state and county budgets continue to tighten, the Foundation plays a critical role in ensuring our students continue to receive exceptional educational, extracurricular, and athletic opportunities.

Our sole mission is to provide financial support for programs and initiatives that directly benefit WPHS students—ranging from classroom resources and teacher “wish lists” to academic enhancements, technology upgrades, and athletic equipment not covered by standard public funding.

The Foundation is an all-volunteer organization with minimal administrative overhead, allowing us to devote over 98% of every dollar raised directly to the school. Donations made during the academic year grant you Foundation membership for that year. All contributions are fully tax-deductible and may be eligible for corporate matching through your employer.

Your support helps us invest in Wildcats today—and empowers the leaders of tomorrow.
